What makes a home warm?
The people in it and the care that is put into how or what is in it. If someone likes pillows, for example, there are more pillows somewhere in the house that they like to be. I suppose the best way to put it is consideration for the people you live with and what makes them happy or comfortable.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
By providing the above when they can to the people around them, or at least helping make it happen. Or simply by caring about others period, because in caring we also act on it.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
We all wanted to make the room more comfortable for Beauty, so we worked out ways to make it warmer, brighter, and in general friendlier for her. And we're planning to personalize it on our own with murals, which sounds nice. I admit, I didn't come up with many ideas for it, but it's been fun to help make things happen for Beauty while everyone else kept pouring out ideas.

I admit I rather like the tub for myself in my room, but it's also a nice place for Nimue to drop by and relax in warmth and comfort, since her lake is frozen. It's small, but it's something until we can fix things for her. The sofa is for both myself and my cats, since I'm sure the room will be rather uncomfortable otherwise. I've been meaning to get more things for them.

What did you spend with your 100 150 points?:
- Level 2 Oven (30 points), of a portable heater sort if possible (reference for what he wants in the foreground IGNORE THE GIF ITSELF OMG it's just the first reference I found on a google. It's a hand-lit heater that you can set things on top of to cook. Idk if this will count as a level 2 heater instead? If so it's 50 points and knock the bookcase down a level)
- Level 2 Lantern (20 points)
- Level 2 book case (50 points).
- 2 Level 2 chairs (40 points)

What makes a home warm?
What makes a home warm are the people in it and the associations you have. I lived a place where people could as easily freeze to death as starve to death, but we were happy and I'd rather have the happiness of being with the one you love and learning new things over any amount of safety.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
...I don't know if there's something knights can do more than anyone else, but care for them. Listen to them and talk to them and share yourself with them. People are warmer when they huddle together, right? The same is emotional.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
For Beauty, I suggested that we hang pictures of things that are important to her, since she can't touch people but can look at things. We ended up not buying that -- but planning for it anyway. We're intending to get paint and if she gets a room here, to decorate it for her.

In my own room, the heater is the most important thing. It and the books are the defining features of 'home' to me, the sense that I have a place I belong and want to return to. Having that is 'warm'.

What did you spend with your 150 points?:
I combined mine with Mithos, so we really had 300 points — and then we added another 300 through trades and gave 160 to Beauty.

- Lvl 3 fireplace [half-a-level upgrade from normal Sterling fireplace] (25 pts)
- Lvl 3 bed [only a queen size rather than a king, upgrade from two twin beds] (75 pts)
- Lvl 3 tub [two-person, with a showerhead, instead of fullsize] (120 points)
- Lvl 2 sink (70 points)
- Lvl 2 toilet (50 points)
- Lvl 3 sunlamp (100 points) - customized to look like moveable, hanging jars of sunlight.

What makes a home warm?
Having things and people that're important to you in it. A home's a place you can feel comfortable.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
By doing the same as anyone else would and being there for people, thinking of what they like and what makes them comfortable and supported... um, I guess a thing that only knights can do is think of quests for people depending on what their preferences are, or what they need. But the real ways to make people warmer are just as people, not as roles.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
We definitely put it into our room, since we just got stuff that would make it really comfortable for us to hang out in, and we're going to quest ourselves to finish up the rest of it. Beauty's room was a little different — she's got her coffin to sleep in already and can't make any real use of blankets and things, since she can't touch them... so we added a blanket and a couch she could sleep on just in case. Hopefully she'll be able to use them someday. And we tried to add places for people to hang out with her, or make things that she could look at or listen to to make her comfortable and happy instead! Like light since that's part of her power, and music because she likes music and parties. We're going to quest for paint outside the game, to paint her room together with scenes that'll make her think of exciting things and how much Sterling wants to support her — it'll be something like a painting party! That'll be warm in its own way too. There's lots of different ways.

The people. Otherwise, it's just another place on the map. But if you want literally, you can make a home warm with a fireplace. Fire goes a long way towards warming things up.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
I'm not sure. Honestly, the answer isn't going to be same for everyone. So I guess... treating it on a case by case basis? Because I think everyone would like to be treated as individuals when they can be.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
I did with the fireplace, but the others are things that I'd like to have. We move often enough, that I'd rather have something functional, and my home is going to be anywhere my brother is anyway.

What did you spend with your 150 points?:
I don't have a lot to ask for, and I also traded in some stuff to get 55 points worth of things to spend on Beauty and stuff, soooo in the end I spent 205 points on:

- A warm-all-day kotatsu (100 pts)
- A personal mug (5 pts)
- Lvl 1 stained glass light catcher (10 pts)

That was for myself! Then I spent the rest on stuff for Beauty:

- Lvl 2 pillow (20 pts)
- Lvl 1 stained glass light catcher (10 pts)
- Lvl 2 stained glass light catcher (20 pts)
- Lvl 3 stained glass light catcher (40 pts)

What makes a home warm?
Uh... I got a couple've answers to this, but... home is where the heart is, right? And maybe you could talk something good about being on your own and only needing a fireplace to be warm or whatever, but it's really lonely and dark-- and when you're lonely and it's dark, don't you feel colder? So... your connections, people caring about you and sharing their time with you, it's... it's really important, okay? Then there's personal touches-- cause a room that's just sterile white like a hospital isn't warm at all, even if you're sharing it with someone. There has to be meaning in what you're sharing, because when they're there you're showing them your heart, right? And cause it's your heart, no matter how exposed you might be, it also needs to be comfortable and familiar and really makes you feels safe and like... like you have something there, if that makes sense, it needs to be meaningful to be warm rather than scary. So if you're all about light, then you'd probably have stuff in your room to express that, your personality. Basically... basically! It's the personality and connections you have that come through in a home, and that's what makes it warm.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
I don't know about being a "knight", I don't... really want to buy into roles like that. But if we're talking as a person, and as someone who feels kind of responsible for making sure that everyone here can have the chance to live warmly, then... then you listen. And you open your own heart to them, and you try your best to accommodate them even when it really hurts. And you just do your best, in your judgement, you know? So if something's so bad that... that you have to be mean, if it's the difference between starving for a day versus starving for a month, you got to be prepared to make those choices. That's being responsible. Making the tough choices is how you can ensure you bring warmth to others too.

Though if you want a good example of a knight, Flynn Scifo gave me his 150 points on top of 30 for me to spend as I wished for Beauty. That's devotion! That's being a knight, for sure! That also means that I am spending 60 of his points for a level 2 desk for himself because fuck you Flynn Scifo. Otherwise I got Beauty a level 3 bed that'll have a canopy added to it later and upgraded her coffee table, and she has three plain pillows to boot.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
Yeah, I tried to. Beauty's really important to me, so I wanted to give her stuff that will help her when she's lonely and just make her comfortable-- and she holds light as a really important thing, so lanterns and a fireplace and candles were a given! That said, me and Eddy talked and decided that we needed to cut back on lanterns a bit so Beauty could have a really nice place to sit, by the fire-- she needs to be comfortable, yeah? She can interact with the world enough to know the difference between sitting and standing, and sitting by a fire is way more comfortable in the end.

I was also thinking, if no ones around and it's silent... that's really chilling. So I went ahead and asked for a musical lantern, to combine the light and the noise, and traded some of my stuff in for points to get her some extra things, because she deserves it and I don't mind. The other knights helped me decide on the stained glass windows and the pillow, and I think those will really appeal to her because it gives her something beautiful and hopeful to look at, especially when her room is filled with so much light already. I bet it'll be really nice. On top of that, I know she likes dolls, so me and Estelle talked and decided a soft toy that's a sheep would be super cute for her. You probably already know about the plans to paint murals for her too, huh? As well as the carpet and stuff... the pillow and the carpet have a key pattern, because the keys are really symbolic of who we are, but also our connections and inner light and unlocking one another's hearts, literally, and that's been important to Beauty from the start. It's all really set out to make it personal for her and for us to be able to keep her company. That's why we got some complicated furniture in there while we could, because we can just handle simple stuff later!

As for myself, I asked for a kotatsu because I had a memory about a cold day on new year's, spending it with my friends playing cards under a kotatsu. It was a really nice warm memory, and one of the better ones I've had. My boyfriend and I talked about it as well, last realm, so I was planning on questing for one anyway-- because it sounds like he'd like to visit and share in it too, and as sappy as it sounds, a kotatsu is all about love and stuff. In Japan, where I'm from, it's considered a heart of a home in a few ways! There's no meaning to it if you're the only one who gets to enjoy it. I also really like light, I have a disco ball in my room already and Beauty's kind of rubbed off on me! In my heart game I heard I had glowing sunflowers and it was a huge theme too, and considering all my talk about home being where the heart is, I thought it'd be... I dunno, I thought it'd be nice to just have the light catchers too. As for the personal mug, no offense to the rest of the guys, but it's nice not to have to share every plate and cup in Sterling and just have something for yourself that you could drink from. Sometimes being independent and treasuring the little stuff that makes you you, that's... that's just part of life and your heart and what makes you a warm person in the first place! So maybe it's not much, but I thought it was a nice touch for me to have.

✿ Level 2 Silver-Colored Shelves (30)
✿ Level 2 Pink with a Purple Stripe Curtains (30)
✿ Level 2 Stained Glass Lantern (20) It has a beach scene!

What makes a home warm?
I'd say the people in it . . . But it's more than that. When you feel like you belong, when there's a strong bond between you, then it's really a home. If you can share that feeling with someone else, then you really do feel warm. So, I'd say having people that you love and trust in with you makes a home warm. Being able to wake up and say good morning to someone else, sitting down dinner together, spending time with each other . . . If they weren't there, then it wouldn't be a home.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
The same way everyone else does, maybe? Still, I don't want to speak for anyone, so I have to start with myself, right? When I'm supported by others, have someone to listen and talk to, even getting to be around someone, that makes me warm, happy. So, I try to do that for others. Maybe, it brings warmth to them. Still, even if it doesn't right then, I still hope that it can help at some point. The snow melts eventually, you know.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
Hmm, tough questions . . . Well, we all wanted Beauty to have whatever she would enjoy, even if she can't touch it yet. So, that was definitely our way of showing that we care about her. Hopefully, she'll end up getting a lot of visitors who are impressed with her space. That'd be nice.

As for my room, I really wanted that sofa. I spend a lot of time in the other knight's rooms, visiting and keeping up with each other. So, I wanted to have something nice for anyone who wanted to visit me. The stuffed toy is to remind me of a friend from home. He promised to stay with me and someone else, be part of our family, so even if we're not together now, he's still here with me in spirit. Mm, the lantern is to remind me of my two homes. They were both at the beach, even if they were different in their own ways. So, even seeing a scene like that can remind me of those places, those people. It warms me up a little to remember the other people I shared important bonds with.

Well, there's a heater... But it's also about the people there with you and what the place means to you, right? The dorm I used to live i—in my memories, I mean—wasn't really fancy or anything, but it had what we needed and I liked living with my friends, so I don't think there was anywhere else I'd rather have been. A home should just be a place where you can have fun with people you like! ... Or something like that.

How can knights bring warmth to others?

Lloyd and I combined our points so we had 300, and then traded for 300 more. 160 of the extra points went to Beauty's room and 140 to ours!

LV. 3 fireplace (slight upgrade on the default Sterling fireplace) - 25 points
LV. 3 bed (queen-sized, upgrade from two default Sterling beds) - 75 points
LV. 3 sunlamp (modified into hanging jars of sunlight, which can be unhooked from the ceiling and moved around) - 100 points
LV. 3 bathtub (modified into a two-person bathtub with a showerhead) - 120 points
LV. 2 toilet - 50 points
LV. 2 sink - 70 points

What makes a home warm?
Sharing it with the people you love! Keeping the things that are important to you safe in it, too. Just . . . home is where the heart is, right? If you have what you care about there, then it's very warm.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
As knights, we do have the responsibility of giving quests, so sometimes it's literal -- we give quests for warm things sometimes, like blankets or extra clothes or good food. Or we can warm people up inside by giving them quests they enjoy doing, or quests that make other people feel good, or get people talking and learning from each other. But otherwise, knights can bring warmth to others the same ways any people can: by being friends and caring, by being there for people, helping them out if they need it, and sharing experiences and feelings with each other.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
We did both! In our room -- well, it's always been important that we make it comfortable for the both of us together, and a great place for us both to stay in and come back to.

In Beauty's, we really had a lot of feelings about making it full of warmth and light and friendliness -- things that make her stronger and happier -- and comfortable places where she can hang out with people. We also put in things she'll enjoy, like the lightcatchers, and we're planning to get paint outside of this game and paint and decorate her walls, so it's a more personal touch from us to her! And we decided to put in a really fancy thing she can sleep on, because we're definitely hopeful that she won't be stuck in a coffin forever. There was a lot in there.

What makes a home warm?
What makes a home warm is different for every person since they have their own ideas of what makes them feel most warm. I think so long as the person can come home and feel comfortable there, then it's definitely warm.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
Knights strive to help others in any way they can, whether they're helping someone quest for what they need or supporting them through a dangerous game or just learning to be their friend. I like to think that the things we do and strive for helps warm the hearts of others.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
I don't know her as well as the other knights do, but for Beauty I suggested wallpaper of forests and waterfalls like her home realm was supposed to be like.

...But I liked the idea enough that when the others went for something else, I took it for my own room. I like to imagine going into my room with the amazing scenery, getting the fireplace started and curling up on the bed with a book of a grand adventure. It'll make me feel like I was having an adventure just being inside, and I'd never feel trapped in my own room again.

What makes a home warm?
Being able to share it and activities with it with someone important.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
Offering comfort and support when it's needed, being a friend and doing whatever we can to make the heroes lives easier.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
I tried to incorporate the sharing aspect into my suggestion for Beauty's room. I suggested a painting of the Prince's ship or something nautical that she could look to whenever she was missing him. Maybe I'll try to work that into the mural the knights are planning on designing. I find reminders of people who aren't around helpful.
In my own room, I mostly wanted to focus on things that could be shared, even if they aren't things I'd use a lot myself. I don't really have much need for cooking or heat, but they're useful to people important to me. And I guess being close to the animals count too so I figured on having some things to make them happy. Also, I guess I find warmth in cooking for others so I wanted something for that too.

What did you spend with your 150 points?:

I obtained 60 additional points through trade but I gave 180 of what I earned to the efforts to make improvements for Beauty's room.

I spent the remaining 30 as follows:
- Lv2 Lantern (20)
- Lv2 Chair (10)

What makes a home warm?

I believe that it is the spirit and companionship of the people who occupy it. When people grow close to one another, their relations and their company can bring any sort of dwelling warmth. Knowing that you are welcome within a place, that there are people there who care for you and treasure you deeply, I think that is the greatest warmth of all.

How can knights bring warmth to others?

We each find our own ways to bring warmth. At times warmth is provided in practical measures, by granting the heroes quests for food or clothing that might help them against the changing seasons of the realms. At times we may also give them the warmth of our companionship. Of someone who is wiling to support them and aid them. The warmth of friends, of comrades united towards a common goal. I think knights may also offer guidance, and in that way may provide warmth in the form of their leadership. Much like the warmth of a hand upon your shoulder that shows you the way through the dark. Or the warmth of a light to guide you home. However the heroes also have many lessons to teach us, and when they do they can find warmth in imparting their knowledge and skills, their experiences. That which they have learned and which forms their unique selves finds warmth in spreading and touching the hearts and minds of others.

Truly these are not the only ways. I think that there are countless ways that the knights might provide and encourage warmth within the heroes and ourselves. But it is our connections and the moments we share with each other and the heroes that show us new ways that warmth can be shared.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?

In creating the room that we made for Beauty each member of Sterling bestowed warmth upon the room in their own way. Our contributions each showed the ways in which we view warmth and served as a symbol of the warmth that we feel towards Beauty and towards our roles as knights. Furthermore, I feel that we were able to bring warmth to our Persona in the contributions that we made to her in the name of our lady. But more than that, the room that we have created for Beauty shows the warmth that she has inspired within us by her actions.

Love~♥!

How can knights bring warmth to others?
By protecting and encouraging the love everyone shares. There's endless ways to do it! You can fight a monster and save someone's life, you can bake cookies to make your favorite team happy, or you can invite others into your own home and make it warmer with their presence.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
I got it in my room! The ribidzile models are something I remember from my room in my family's home. It's something ro remind me of a place where I was loved and the people there I want to protect (also ribidziles are cool). As for the other things~ I want my room to be comfortable and welcoming to the friends I've given keys too. When they don't feel like they have a place to go, my home is open to them- I have a pillow so I can share my bed, and a bed of leaves so a certain someone can have a bed of their own.

What did you spend with your 150 points?:

For my own room:
- Level 2 fireplace (50)

For David's room:
- A warm-all-day kotatsu (100 pts)

For Maleficent's room:
I traded an ornate sword from a lost world that I restored for 100 points. Those points were used collectively to decide on what her room would get.

What makes a home warm?

Figuratively, it's whoever is there. Companionship. Family. Self-sufficiency. Otherwise it's just an empty place.

How can knights bring warmth to others?

'Knight' is a loose role and concept without real meaning on its own. A person brings warm to others by challenging them into improving themselves and by offering them support and care.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?

Yes. We collaborated as a group into deciding what would bring more warm to Maleficent's room and I decided to trade off something important to compensate for the points we needed.

For my own room I decided I only needed something to literally keep it warm for whenever I had to be there, because I spend very little time in it. For David's, I suggested a kotatsu because it'd be something that can potentially keep more than one person warm and at the same time, the table could serve multiple purposes.

What did you spend with your 150 points?:
I gave 50 to Mal and kept 100 for me to get a level 2 mirror, a level 2 lantern, and level 3 blankets.

What makes a home warm?
Fire keeps things real warm, but blankets, too, and body heat. And love. And cuddlin', cuddlin's real important.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
By givin' people hugs and quests for warm stuff they like. And spendin' time with people.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
Um, yeah, 'cause Mal's room is made so we can all have a sleepover there. It'll be real warm 'cause there'll be lots of people, all of Onyx, and we'll all be sleepin' together real cozy.

What did you spend with your 150 points?:

For my room

lvl 2 fireplace (50)
lvl 1 shelves (15)
hunting knife and whetstone (30)
small rug (25)
squishy exercise mat (20)

for Maleficent's room

10 points toward flowers

What makes a home warm?

Family. I can't say I have much of one here yet, but that's the general idea of it. You can work from there to get what you want. Family makes sure you're happy. Comfortable. All of that.

How can knights bring warmth to others?

I can list a few ways, but something tells me that this isn't the time or place.

But through helping out, probably. Not putting themselves first. I'd guess that's the ticket. Even if "knight" is a dumb thing most times, we are here to hand things out to people who need them.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?

Yeah, for both.

For my room, I didn't need much, but I haven't been in Aather long to accumulate things so that was a deciding factor. So, shelves, a hunting knife, things like that'll help me out. Plus, I can keep in shape in my room. But most of all, I did need literal warmth. I'm from somewhere warm originally. Camelot's different.

As for Maleficent's room ... Part of our helping out is to be a strength to our patron, and one way she gets strength is through being around all of us. So we set up the room in two ways. First, so she'd be happy and comfortable in there. Plus, she's the bookish sort, so we ensured that there'd be a comfortable place for her to read, as well as one to rest all her books. There are plants because she can't be without them and a nice large bed. That's where we come in. See, Viola was right: it'd be a place for all of us to relax and be together. "Sleepovers" was the word she used, and that's the idea.

What did you spend with your 150 220 points?:
20 Stuffed Animal Level 2 (a Sneasel for Maleficent)
50 Fireplace Level 2
40 Exercise Mat Level 3
60 Bathtub Level 3 (customized to be extra sturdy and deep rather than fancy, since it's for Feraligatr)
20 Lantern Level 2
20 a good climbing rope

What makes a home warm?
Well... there are two kinds of warmth, right? Physical warmth and... emotional warmth, I guess. I spent a lot of time around nothing but ice and cold people as a child, and it wasn't-- I didn't like it. So being physically warm is important for comfort and survival, but so is emotional warmth... I think. For most of my life, my home has been wherever my sister was. We kept each other warm.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
We can help heroes on quests to bring physical warmth to their teams. But we can also bring emotional warmth to each other through comfort and companionship. I'd like to think we've done that for Maleficent.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
I think so. For my room, I traded a few things for extra points. Most of the things I bought were for my Pokémon, honestly. I got the fireplace and bathtub for Feraligatr, because he's going to be pretty cold here and I want him to be comfortable. The training mat and rope are for, well, training. They're my team, and to me, they're the biggest reminder of "home" that I have.

I came a little late to the game, so Onyx had already come up with a lot of good ideas for Maleficent's room. I wanted to give her something simple but comforting, so I suggested a stuffed animal. Originally it was going to be a cat, but Sasuke said that a Sneasel might mean more to her. I also used my leftover points to contribute to more soil for her garden. I want Maleficent to be comfortable here, and know that we all care for her.

What did you spend with your 100 points?:

I've already a proper bed, desk and wardrobe, and at first I was at quite the loss to think of things I was in want of. A fireplace, naturally, as it is cold in this realm, and then a small but well-made rug, for under foot near the bed, and a flowering plant that I could tend and keep, when the outside climate is so inhospitable to my patron's gardens.

More than that, I couldn't think I would need. However, Sasuke kindly gave me his remaining points... and then had quite a few suggestions on what I ought purchase with them. I suppose that is only fitting, as by now it is nearly as much his space as mine. With those remaining points I have obtained us a "kotatsu", which he tells me is a table set with blankets and a heater, which sounds quite fine for both the weather and company; he also bade me get us a chessboard, presumably so we've something to do whilst we sit at our table.

What makes a home warm?
A home is warmed by those you share it with, and by the sense of belonging you get from it. Moreover, a home is not a physical building so much as it is that very sense of belonging, itself. In that way, a home can move with you, wherever you may go.

How can knights bring warmth to others?
I shall tell you what I told Sasuke, when we discussed it earlier:
My first idea was that we could all contribute to the same idea of warmth, like a patchwork quilt. However... however, I think that is not quite the right of it. A patchwork quilt only serves its purpose when it is all assembled, with proper backing and every piece accounted for; in disparate pieces, a patchwork quilt is quite useless. Further, the loss of a even single piece weakens it, makes it easy for cold to seep in, and increases the likelihood of furhter wear.

Onyx, least, is not like that. Individually we all have our own purpose, our own use, and our own best way of accomplishing our set goal, even if our methods are distinct and, at times, incompatible. Seperated, we would still provide some measure of warmth; our value remains constant, alone or togeher.

...But still, when together, we can offer much more warmth than if we were apart. Like-- layering blankets upon a bed. The more of us there are, the warmer it will be.

...However, he gave me quite the look, for that. I think perhaps he did not appreciate the sentiment so much.

In a more practical sense, we bring warmth by being support and providers to others. For my own part, I try and be constant and reliable in that, so that the heroes and my fellow knights should never feel that lack.

Did you incorporate that into your room or your patron's room? If so, how?
...yes and no, for our patron. Certainly we only got her the one blanket. But we also filled her room with a collection of perfectly useful items which, when taken as a whole, make a rather delightfully garish distillation of the presence we clearly feel she has.

For myself, I certainly think so; now the room will be set with those things that help me feel that I belong there and, with the addition of both Sasuke and those things I obtained with his contributed points, hopefully be a space that offers belonging to others.
